Maricel and GJ Jimenez have been making pies and cheesecakes for years. At first, they made them for friends and family and told restaurants about them. Soon, banapple added well-known food shops and restaurants to its list of customers. They were all served out of a home kitchen in Quezon City.
In March 2007, the brand Banapple (banana + apple) was created. The name comes from the main ingredients of the Banoffee pie and the Apple Caramel Crumble Pie, two of Banapple’s early hits.
Soon after, Banapple moved its main kitchen to Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City, which was bigger and easier to get to. At the front of this kitchen, Banapple runs a cake showroom and cafe. It is unusual to find banapple pies and cheesecakes in the city.
Banapple serves delicious home-cooked hot meals like Chicken Parmigiano, Lasagna Roll-ups, and Hickory-smoked Country Ribs, as well as sandwiches, pastas, and great pancakes. Banapple has become a nice landmark where people stop for a quick bite to eat on their way to or from work or school. Bakers and waiters are nice and provide quick, personalized service. great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in the middle of the night,
At any time of the day, anyone can enjoy tasty meals, great desserts, and good coffee.
