BonChon is a South Korean fried chicken chain founded by Jinduk Seh. He had a vision to share his country’s favorite comfort food with the world, and spent two years perfecting the cooking technique and creating the perfect glaze that embodied the rich and distinct Korean flavors of Soy Garlic and Spicy.
The company was founded in 2002 in the coastal city of Busan, South Korea and quickly gained popularity. In 2006, BonChon opened its first overseas store in Fort Lee, New Jersey, USA, where it started to gain fame.
The company then expanded to Philippines, where the Korean-American flavor and fusion experience became popular. Bonchon has continued to expand globally and now has locations worldwide.
