Bag of Beans is a café and restaurant in Tagaytay, Philippines, that is run by a family. When it opened in 2000, the menu was simple: freshly baked pastries, barako coffee, and Alamid coffee. Bag of Beans grew quickly because their coffee and baked goods were so popular.
They now have several locations that serve heartier breakfast and lunch meals as well as brick-oven pizzas. The Shepherd’s Pie, which is made with ground meat and creamy mashed potatoes, is one of their most popular dishes.
They also serve Roast Beef, Fish and Chips, a Breakfast Sampler, and Bulalo, which is a soup made with beef shanks that still have their bones. The summer house of Atty. Conrado and Atty.
Felicitas Diaz is where the Bag of Beans Charito Branch is, and it has a beautiful view of Taal Lake and Volcano.
Bag of Beans is known not only for its food, but also for its Raisin Bread, which you can buy at its gift shop.
